How often should you book a head spa?

Honest guidance on rhythm. Monthly suits most people, with room to come more or less as your scalp asks.

It is a fair question, and it deserves an honest answer rather than a sales pitch. How often you come depends on your scalp, your stress, and your own sense of what feels good. There is no single number that fits everyone.

That said, there is a rhythm that suits most people, and a few reasons to adjust it up or down. Here is how we think about it, and how your therapist will tend to talk it through with you in the spa.

Monthly is a sensible rhythm for most

For most guests, once a month is a comfortable cadence. It is often enough to keep buildup from settling in and to give the scalp a regular, thorough reset, and it is spaced enough that each visit still feels like a genuine break rather than a task on the list.

A month also fits the way scalps actually behave. Oil, product, and daily tension gather over roughly that span, so a monthly ritual meets them at a natural point. Many guests treat the Signature Scalp Ritual as exactly this, their monthly maintenance, the way they might keep a standing haircut or facial.

There is a practical benefit to a steady cadence too. When your therapist sees your scalp at regular intervals, the before and after views on the microscope camera start to tell a story over time. Small changes are easier to notice and respond to when the visits are spaced evenly, and you build a rhythm you do not have to think much about.

When to come a little more often

Some scalps ask for more. If yours runs oily, or tends toward buildup, dandruff, or an itchy, flaky feeling, a closer rhythm can help while you get things settled. The same is true through a high-stress stretch, when tension collects at the crown faster than usual.

For a specific concern, your therapist may suggest a short series to begin, a handful of visits closer together, before easing back to monthly. That is what our packages are for, and the sessions never expire on a schedule, so a series is there when you want it and never a clock you have to beat.

When less is plenty

Other scalps do best with a lighter touch. If yours is sensitive, or already calm and comfortable, every six to eight weeks may be all you want, and that is completely fine. The ritual is meant to serve your scalp, not the other way around.

A lighter schedule does not mean the visit does less. It simply means your scalp holds its balance longer between resets, which is a good sign rather than a reason to book more. Listen to how your hair and skin feel in the weeks after a visit, and let that guide the gap before the next one.

The honest truth is that the best rhythm is the one you will actually keep. There is no pressure here to overbook. Come when it serves you, let your therapist read your scalp and offer a suggestion, and adjust as your scalp and your life change.

The ritual works best as a rhythm, but a rhythm is personal. Find the one that feels sustainable, and let it be easy. That, more than any fixed number, is what keeps a scalp healthy over time.
